TODAY, FORWARD...

Brother 2 Brother

Just as the old “Virginia Slims” commercial states ” We’ve come a long way Baby”. Starting in 2000 until today. We have experienced a lot, learned valuable lessons, gain a lot of perspective and made significant strides. We hoped through our consistent efforts, that we have changed lives and impacted the world in some small way. We credit the former leadership, (Danny and Therese Claypool – President Emeritus) who have tasked us with carrying on the legacy of Brother to Brother. In the last couple of years during the onslaught of the COVID -19 pandemic and the uncertainty of the associated variants, we had to re-shift our focus and re-evaluate where Brother 2 brother can best meet the needs, support and contribute to our numerous charities. It has been a thought-provoking time in our lives. It gave us plenty of time to reflect on why we exist here on this earth and what our divine purpose should be.

Our main passions have always been about strengthening the family unit and serving through community outreach. Brother 2 Brother believes that it is our obligation and opportunity to dedicate our time and resources to the lives of those less fortunate. We believe as an organization it is our calling to be mentors to our youth to help steer them and provide them tools to gain wisdom and knowledge they can use to chart their future course in life.

As a combined and mutual decision of the members, directors and governing body, Currently, no one working for and with Brother 2 Brother gets paid. All work is done voluntarily with the exception of outside services like accounting and web management. Approximately 90 to 95% of all charitable and donated funds are used for the many programs Brother 2 Brother supports. A small portion approximately 5 to 10% is used for the upkeep of the B2B website, literature, annual registration and administration cost.
