Dear Members, Partners, and Sponsors,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for thisone of the best years Brother 2 Brother has had since the inception of the ministry. With your help, Brother 2 Brother has been able to assist more families with food, clothing, and scholarships than ever before. Here is a summary of the things we were able to accomplish:
- 2008 Thanksgiving Food Drive - November
- Blessed 162 families with dinners in both the Chicago and Milwaukee areas
- Partnered with Larkin Center, Northside Church of God in Milwaukee, First Church of God Christian Life Center in Evanston, Living Faith Cathedral Worship Center, and Christian Faith Fellowship Church
- 63 event sponsors
- 2008 Christmas Toy and Coat Drive - December
- Gave out over 250 new coats and 100 new toys to kids in both the Chicago and Milwaukee areas
- Partnered with Larkin Center, Northside Church of God in Milwaukee, First Church of God Christian Life Center in Evanston, Living Faith Cathedral Worship Center, and Christian Faith Fellowship Church
Your faithfulness has enabled us to serve people in many different ways.
We truly look forward to your continuous support while we reach our goals. We know that without your support it would be impossible, but with your support we can do it! Our Goals for 2008 & 2009 are:
- 2009 Swing for Scholarships Golf Outing
- 25 foursomes (100 golfers)
- 10 scholarships to individuals ranging from $250.00 to $500.00
- Additional funds for the Thanksgiving Food Drive and Christmas Coat & Toy Drive
- More event and corporate sponsors
- 2009 Thanksgiving Food Drive
- Bless over 200 families with dinners in Chicagoland and Milwaukee area
- Partner with more organizations who assist needy families
- More event and corporate sponsors
- 2009 Christmas Toy and Coat Drive
- Bless children in Chicagoland and Milwaukee area with over 350 coats and 200 toys
- Partner with more organizations who assist needy families
- More event and corporate sponsors
We realize that these goals are aggressive, but we believe that through hard work and your help God will allow us to reach these accomplishments.
How You Can Help in 2008 & 2009
Please click here to get a copy of the contribution sheet. Once you print out the sheet, complete it by designating your support along with a check and send it back to Brother 2 Brother. The other alternative is to go to make an online donation. Click the Events link near the top of the page and select the event to which you would like to donate money. All donations, big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
Some important things for you to know. . .
Brother 2 Brother is a non-profit organization and your contributions are tax deductible. 100% of all donations are used for the event projects. The individuals in Brother 2 Brother work solely on a volunteer basis. Tax statements will be sent out in January 2009.
Please continue to check out the website on a regular basis . That will be the best way to get up-to-date information on what is going on with Brother 2 Brother. Thank you for helping us to fulfill God’s vision for Brother 2 Brother and we pray that you and your family are blessed during 2008.
