On August 11, 2007, we had our 6th Annual Swing for Scholarships Golf
Outing held at Whisper Creek Golf Club. The weather was great as the
men of Brother 2 Brother greeted the golfers upon arrival. We were
blessed to have 17 foursomes golf in this year’s outing and 30 sponsors
gave donations toward scholarships for needy students. Everyone had
a great time at the cookout luncheon as we raffled off prizes and gave
away awards.

Now came the moment that everyone was waiting for, the crowning of
the champions of the 2007 Swing for Scholarships Golf Outing. For the
first time in the history of the event, we had a tie for first place!

First Church - Oliver Gray, Micheal Curry, Daniel, Mike Curry
Danny presented awards to Wayne Hampton and his Father and Mother, Jack and Alzenia Claypool, for the love and support they have given him over the years. Jeff Mlinarch present the President's Award to Eric Harrison. As the event drew to a close, the men of Brother 2 Brother presented President Danny Claypool with a gift to show how much they appreciate him and his family for all of the hard work they put in to make the golf outing a success.
When the day was over, the partners, sponsors, golfer, and most of students in need of scholarships were winners.
