On August 09, 2008, Brother 2 Brother was blessed to have the 7th Annual Swing for Scholarships
Golf Outing. All participants enjoyed a great day of fun as they played the challenging Whisper
Creek Golf Course. After all of the foursomes completed their round of golf, the men of Brother 2
Brother welcomed everyone to the Awards Luncheon. We all had a wonderful time as we raffled off
prizes and recognized individuals who were instrumental in the success of the golf outing.
Now came the moment that everyone was waiting for, the crowning of the 2008 Swing for
Scholarships Logo Ball and Scramble Champions. The champions of the Logo Ball Tournament
were the defending champions from last year, The Men of First Church of God - Team #12. The
Champions received the $1000.00 Grand Prize and Championship Trophies.

There is a correction concerning the Champions of the Scramble Tournament. Due to an error with
misplacing a scorecard, the Champions of the Scramble Tournament were Team #1 with a score of
66. The second place foursome was Team #4 with a score of 67. We sincerely apologize for the
mistake. The Champions of the Scramble received 2 free rounds of golf, and free registration for the
2009 Swing for Scholarships Golf Outing.

This year we were able to raise close to $10,000 for Scholarships, Thanksgiving dinners, and
Christmas Coats & Toys. With the help of our golfers and sponsors, we are able to be a blessing to
many families who are in need. We truly appreciate your support as we continue to reach, touch,
and change lives. We are honored to have the opportunity to serve those who are less fortunate.
