Dying by Natural Causes

In order to do what you need to do for God and walk in the destiny He has for you, you have to go through a time of preparation. Many times we look at other men and then go after the results they have using the same method they used. We look at the situation through our natural eyes and not our spiritual eyes. Each man must search to find the road that God wants him to travel on to become the man God has called him to be. When we take the short cut and go down another man’s path, it can translate into depression, frustration, failure, and death (spiritually and physically).

This is a fast track to “Dying by Natural Causes”.

If there is no preparation, then the true battle is not with the devil. The battle is with the flesh and all the things that come with it. When it is all said and done, the spiritual autopsy will reveal that you died from things like pride, envy, strife, gossip, laziness, and selfishness. These things are the result of not dealing with your flesh through spiritual preparation. There will be no sign of a battle with the devil or attempting to do the work of the Lord.

There are no passes. You can not take any shortcuts to achieve this goal. You have to go through spiritual boot camp so that you can deal with your flesh properly. Spiritual boot camp will help you to deal with the things that the world will throw at you on a daily basis. The challenges, the trials, the tribulations you face will not bother you as much because of the training you have received in spiritual boot camp.

This is a process that takes time and must be completed. If you do not finish, God will take you right back to where you left off. If you try to go into battle for God before you have successfully completed boot camp, you will fail. As we try to do what we think is God’s work with out the proper preparation, then we expose ourselves to situations that we are not ready to face. We run into battle before God says it is time to go. When we go into battle unprepared, it results in us becoming wounded and having to go to the spiritual hospital to recover. This is a place where we all have been.

Praise God for His Grace and Mercy!!!

When we truly accept God’s grace and mercy we are able to recover and get the proper instructions from God. These instructions help us to go back to where we left off in boot camp and finish what we started. Now we can go into battle ready to fight for Jesus. Always remember, while you are recovering in the spiritual hospital, always be mindful of your brothers who you see making the same mistakes you did. Share your experiences and let him know about your journey. Do not keep the testimony to yourself because it can mean deliverance to another man.

Now we can see why it is so hard for us to do things like: fast for long periods of time, discipline ourselves in our actions, or put a watch over our tongues. With out the proper preparation and training in spiritual boot camp, you are setting yourself up for “Death by Natural Causes.” When we die, we should be fighting for God’s causes as a spiritual warrior for Jesus Christ.
